No shortage of lawyers
Not very long ago I was reading a business article about what professions are going to be in high demand. All of the articles seem to indicate that service industry jobs are the way to go. The article included the comment that there already is a glut of lawyers in the market. I think that the article was talking about the largest gluts right now are Portland Maine divorce lawyers and Los Angeles DUI Lawyers!
I have a good friend whose daughter went to law school and graduated at the top of her class. She’s been looking for work in New York in the legal field for the past ten years and still can’t find a job that she wants! I don’t know if that is an indication of just being too picky, or if there really is a shortage of legal jobs out there! I suspect that she’s just being too picky. What do you think?
