Rite Aid

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

I have transferred several of my prescriptions over to the local Rite Aid here in town and have received a $25 Rite Aid gift card for each one so far. I like Rite Aid and I won’t have any problem spending the gift cards on personal care items that I usually buy at Wally World.

Trade Shows, It’s All Good

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

I have had the pleasure of attending a good share of trade shows in my time. Since while growing up my parents owned and ran their own small business, they took advantage of all that trade show have to offer. It is a great way to get the word out about your goods or service. The networking that goes on at these trade shows is worth it’s weight in gold if you know how to network and are a “people person”

My folks relied pretty heavily on my knowledge of the English language when they were first starting out. And they certainly didn’t have the nice trade show booths that are available and so easy to use these days. They made do with the folding card tables that were dragged from the house each time we set up at one of these exhibitions back in the day. These days they have really nice fancy affordable table skirts, literature holders, banner stands, pop ups, hanging overhead displays, pipe and drape sets and crowd control products that are just awesome for today’s trade shows.

We no longer rely on nor attend these events as much as we used to, but we do find that we enjoy attending one once in awhile, it’s good to get out with the family and learn what is out there in our community, meet new people, catch up with the old timers and the free give aways are always a nice treat to walk out the door with. Some times you come home with some pretty nifty items, and I like free.

Pavarotti & Friends

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

It is too bad that we lost Pavarotti a few years back. I always enjoyed the albums that came out of his Pavarotti & Friends tour that were so popular each year in the 90’s. I like being able to go onto YouTube.com and finding all the songs and videos that would be such a challenge trying to find in the stores.

This Pavarotti & Sting video is excellent, they are both great artists and when you mix them together you get an awesome experience for all to enjoy, hope you enjoy it as well.
