Guaranteed Faxless Payday Loan

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

Payday loans have been in the news a lot lately.  It seems that a lot of consumers are not well education about how they work, and how if they are not careful they will cost the debtor more money than they realized.  So caution is to be urged when thinking about taking out a Payday Loan.  If, after deciding that a Payday loan is the best course of action, the debtor can obtain a Guaranteed Faxless Payday Loan online through the apexpaydayloans.com website.

Groundhog day is fast approaching

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

My boyfriend and I were talking about groundhog day, and how it is fast approaching.  I think the entire concept of groundhog day is a little bit silly – waking up a poor hibernating critter to see if it sees its shadow or not is just plain silly.  If it’s sunny out, of course it is going to see its shadow (if it looks!)  Just let the poor thing sleep for crying out loud!  I mean they say if he sees his shadow, it’s six more weeks of winter, if he doesn’t, then we’ll have spring in six weeks.  Well, what is the difference?  Six of one, half a dozen of the other.  It makes no sense at all to me, really!

Spring break

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

I was talking to my brother earlier today about what he is going to do for his college’s spring break vacation coming up.  He sais he wasn’t quite sure yet what he was going to do.  He and his dorm roommates have been looking at spring break vacations packages on the Internet that they found on the xtremetrips.com website.  He said that they found a lot of great packages and can’t quite make up their minds which sounds like the most fun.

So he said that they were going to canvass their friends and see if they can arrange to get a large group together to all go to the same place so that they can really have a great time.

Got a new kitten

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

My neighbor gave me a kitten today, from the litter her cat had a few weeks ago.  It is cute as a button!  She gave me pick of the litter.  It is a little orange tiger.  I’m sure he will be a lot of fun to watch grow up.  My neighbor gave me a starter kit of a litter box, litter box liners, kitty litter, pooper scooper, food & water dish and food enough to last me a few weeks.  Wasn’t that nice of her?  So now I have to think about whether or not to neuter and declaw him a little bit later in life.  I’ve heard so many pros and cons to de-clawing, this will be a tough decision.  I guess I’ll wait a bit and see if I can train him to claw at a scratching post or not.

Personal loans

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

It seems that the American way of life includes having a lot of credit card debt and personal loansto help the American family make ends meet.  This can get pretty scary when the job market is getting so tight and unemployment rates skyrocket!  Debt consolidation services from fastdebtfreedomnow.com can save the debtor a lot of money if used wisely.

All you can eat buffet

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

We made the mistake of trying to eat out tonight at an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant.  The waiting line was about ten feet outside the door!  Not wanting to wait all night in line, we decided to skip that restaurant and just head to the local Chik-Fil-A restaurant.  I like their chicken sandwiches and their waffle fries.  It surprised me the first time I ordered one of their sandwiches that I had to add my own condiments, but once I realized that it was no big deal, they have all of the condiments available on a self-serve counter.

So we had a pretty good meal, didn’t have to wait for hours in line, and I’m sure it cost less than the all-you-can-eat place too.  Good deal.

Getting a car loan in a bad economy

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

The news I hear almost every day about the state of the economy is discouraging.  More people losing their jobs, more businesses shutting down, the banks and credit card companies in trouble.  The car companies in trouble.  I have to admit it is difficult to keep a positive outlook in such a state!  A few of my co-workers and neighbors have had it so rough that they’ve even had to file for bankruptcy.  This is a traumatic thing for anyone to go through; it seems as if they will never get their good credit back, and it costs a lot of money for them them to get loans on anything.  They pay extra fees, and higher interest rates.  That’s one of the idiosyncrasies about our free enterprise market – the people that need the breaks are the ones least likely to get them!

And if they end up needing to buy a large ticket item, such as a car, they can really have a hard time finding a good loan; they need to apply for bankruptcy auto loans.  Fortunately for them, that type of loan is easier to find and apply for more than ever due to the magic of the Internet!  The nowgetloan.com website is a great website to use to help find a car loan, whether you have good credit or poor credit; they can get you the money quickly.

Philosophy

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

When I was taking college courses, one of the courses that I found quite interesting was and Introduction to Philosophy.  The teacher was a very good one; he made me see and think about things in ways I had not thought before.  I’m grateful to him for that.  One of the things that I thought was interesting was that one of the first questions he brought before the class was the question as to whether or not God exists.  It was a very interesting discussion!  He argued both ways, that God exists, and then the other, that God does not exist.  I found it interesting that he mentioned that one of the things science is always trying to do is to prove that God DOES exist, which is contrary to what I have heard so many bible-thumping people claim!  So I thought that was a very interesting statement!  I think science is just trying to get to the truth, and really doesn’t care one way or the other!

My parents are concerned about investing their money

Friday, January 16th, 2009

My parents have been telling me that they are growing more concerned every day about the safety of the money that they have to invest.  As they are getting older, they don’t want to risk much of it on the stock market.  I’ve suggested that they take a look at CD Rates because it is my understanding that they are safer than the stock market, yet yield more profit than a traditional savings account.

I’ve always liked Al Franken

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I never got to see this video when it was first aired on television, but I’m seeing it now on the Internet! This is the video that has been on the Television news lately. I think it’s a riot, but it does not do anything to lower my opinion of his ability to be in politics! I’ve always liked Al Franken, I think he is a very smart, and very funny man. But it is obvious to me that he is very concerned about the state of world and I think he will do a good job in the Senate. I hope that they certify him soon so he can get in there and start working!

Pets are family members

Monday, January 12th, 2009

Our keeshond Dutch is getting older now, and I can see his muzzle graying.  He slows down quicker when we go for a long walk together, or when we play fetch. Boy does that dog love to play fetch! He doesn’t care if it’s a stick or a ball or a frisbee, he loves to play fetch!  And he loves children, too. He will let them pet him, and tug on his fur and he’ll just lie there and take it. If it gets too bad he’ll get up and go hide under a bed somewhere. He’s never bit a soul in his life. But he’s a magnificent “watch dog” he will bark and growl at strangers until I tell him it’s ok! And the strangers ARE afraid of him because he looks so much like a wolf! They don’t know how gentle he really is, and that’s OK with me!

Lately I’ve been spending some time reading about health issues realted to his aging process.  I want to make sure to keep him in the best possible health and make sure he lives a good long time!  I’ve found a site called Petwave that has a lot of informative articles about Pet Health that I plan to spend a lot more time reading!

Our keeshond Dutch

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I love our keeshond Dutch. He’s been with us since he was a two month old puppy. We bought him from a breeder that showed keeshonden in another state and had to drive for four hours one way to go get him! We had bought a crate with us to make sure he stayed safe for the drive home. Well, we fell in love with him immediately, and he with us. He has been a good, faithful gentle dog. He is a well trained dog, we trained him really early. I love to see him do his little tricks like catching a frisbee and rolling over.

Will small businesses increase or decrease?

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

I find this to be an interesting time, this recession, leading to depression time. Many businesses will be scaling back, many will be closing down. Some of these will be large companies, some will be small businesses. However I see that this will also be a time where more people will open their own small businesses, largely because they were laid off from the other companies closing down and they can’t find other employment. They will be forced to start their own small businesses.

When running a small business, many times the business will need one or more small business loans. Whether for start up costs, or to invest in more capital, the need to obtain more money to invest in the business will be there from time to time. That is when the savvy business owner will do some serious comparing of companies that provide financial services.

The Merchant Advisors Company’s website at www.onlinecheck.com offers small businesses the help they need to set up a merchant account to accept credit cards, and can assist with obtaining financing for other business needs. They also offer a service that enables the small business to accept check payments by telephone! Now I think THAT is an innovative service!

Fraud in India

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

i was reading on the Internet about the big controversy over the Indian firms Satyam, and how that is going to effect many US companies that have used them to outsource their work. Many companies moved their work from the USA to India because it was saving them 15% to 20% of their labor costs.

I understand the desire of a company to save money on their labor costs, but this outsourcing to other countries is one of the big reasons that our economy here in the USA is in so much trouble. I would really like to see these jobs coming back here. I know that other countries are suffering economically, but charity is supposed to begin at home, isn’t it?

Great deals for online shopping

Saturday, January 10th, 2009

Do you like cash back rebates, comparison shopping, and online shopping deals?  I sure do!  I don’t know anyone who doesn’t!  My brother’s girlfriend just sent me the link to a website called extrabux.com and told me to check it out.

So I went to the site and found that it is a shopping site that gives you cash rebates right into your paypal account when you shop through them at one of their 800 member stores.  What you have to do is sign up for an account, then when you want to shop you go through their website.  When you buy from one of their merchants you get some cash rebate money!  They also have discounts, coupons, and specials to make shopping even cheaper!  I was looking at their list of merchants and found several that I like – Fashion Bug, Zappos, Ebay, Petco, Pacific Sunwear, and Spencer gifts just to name a few.  Different merchants offer varying amounts of cash back rebates, but every little bit helps, right?  Check it out for yourself!

Barbie and Bratz

Saturday, January 10th, 2009

I was delighted to read that the courts have delayed the order to remove the Bratz dolls from store shelves until the end of this year.  I was really sorry to have heard the news a while back that the Mattel Corporation had won their lawsuit over the Bratz dolls and that the dolls had to be removed from the shelves.  It seems to me that there could have been some kind of compromise going on there!  The little girls that I know have both Barbie AND Bratz dolls, and love them both equally!  I think there is room in the market for both dolls.

Sleep apnea

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

I’ve been trying to convince my doctor that I suffer from sleep apnea.  I haven’t had a good night’s sleep for as long as I can remember.  I find myself jolting awake, gasping for breath many times during the night.  It’s even worse when I have a cold and I’m taking cold medicine to help me sleep.

I’ve explained that to the doctor and she is reluctant to order a sleep study on me.  She told me that I’d have to sleep in the clinic with wires attached to me.  I told her that wasn’t a problem, that I’d be willing to do that, but she still doesn’t want to do it.  She says that she doesn’t think it is sleep apnea, but she doesn’t know what it is and she won’t test me for anything.  I’m beginning to think that maybe she is reluctant because she is on a program with the medical insurance company that I have where they pay her an extra bonus or incentive to keep testing costs down.  I hate to sound so cynical, but I really can’t think of any other excuse.

My girlfriend told me to read a web page she emailed to me about sleep apnea.  She said that I should read it and take it to the doctor if I still think I have sleep apnea.  I just took a brief look at it and saw that it is a comprehensive guide to a huge number of sleep disorders!  I may be reading that for a long time, trying to figure out what I may have!

New glasses

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

I’m quite annoyed with my eye doctor.  I went to see him a couple of weeks ago to have my eyes checked.  He gave me a different prescription and I can hardly see a thing in them!  I am sure someone made a mistake somewhere.  I’m going to  have to take more time off of work to go back to the office and try to get a prescription pair that I can see out of!  At this point I’ve put my old pair back on and just tossed the new pair on the hallway table until I can get back in to see him.  This is discouraging!

Parties

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

My cousin’s daughter is turning thirteen later this month.  She was talking to me on the phone asking me for kids birthday party ideas to help her plan her daughter’s birthday party.  We were talking about the best birthday parties we’ve ever been to, and the parties that we would have loved to have.  The best parties I’ve ever been to involved getting the kids involved in simple but fun games where everyone won prizes!  I think if I were to have had the ideal birthday party, it would have been when I was in third grade and I would have invited several girl friends over and had a fairy themed party.

Or maybe when I was a teenager and I could invite boys and girls, and have a pizza parlor themed party!  I was looking at a website called celebrations.com to come up with some ideas for my cousin’s party.  I saw that it was a website where readers can share their ideas and experiences and recipes for ideas on a wide variety of parties, for kids AND adults, birthday or anniversary or retirement, or graduation, or showers – whatever party reason you can think of!

I got side tracked reading about the fairy birthday party ideas; they sounded like a lot of fun for a little girl’s party!

Happy New Year!

Thursday, January 1st, 2009

Well I just got back from a good friend’s house. I was invited over to her house for a big New Year’s Eve party that she was having. There must have been at least thirty people there! It’s a good thing she had a big house! She invited me to come to the party and sleep over, which was really nice because I don’t like going anywhere after midnight on New Year’s because I’m so afraid of all of the drunk drivers on the road. Anyway, we had a blast! Music, dancing, good food, and lots of noise at midnight! Didn’t get to sleep until probably 3am, so slept in today! Glad we only do this once a year! Hope you and yours have a great 2009!
