Looking for a new job
Saturday, July 12th, 2008There have been a lot of rumors going around the office that layoffs are coming soon. With the economy the way it is, the price of gasoline going up, the company is thinking about “tightening its belt” and “reducing the non-productive workforce.” Well, I hate to be called “non-productive” but that IS the term that they use for “office workers.” And I happen to be one of them! So, in light of the upcoming layoffs, I’ve decided to start looking for a job NOW and beat the crowd.
So I’ve started checking out the online employment websites, there are so many of them it is downright overwhelming! Job hunting is a huge pain in the neck!
