My cousin was showing me his police tactical pants that he likes to wear all of the time.  He ordered them off of the Internet and he just loves them.  They are made out of denim, so they look like ordinary blue jeans.  What makes these different from regular blue jeans is that they have a lot of hidden pockets and the belt loops are positioned in a special way to allow for a gun holster.  Then he showed me his special rain gear pants that he got from the same place.  They are made out of special material that allow his skin to breathe but won’t let the rain in.

Our family is planning to have a big family picnic, with aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, siblings, everyone who can come over for the day.  Some will be staying overnight and turning it into a big weekend of family visiting.

So in a very little while I will have to be helping to finish up making the potato salad and devilled eggs.  We started those yesterday, but need to have some finishing touches.  Then we need to get out the veggie trays and start setting up!

After dinner, if the weather holds up we will be setting off some fireworks in the back yard.  (Yes, the legal ones!)  But I heard that there is supposed to be thunderstorms tonight, so we may be seeing natural fireworks instead!

I’m looking forward to seeing some of my aunts and uncles, I haven’t seen them in a long time.
